Overview & History
The department of Psychiatry was established in the year 1983 headed by Professor James T Antony. Post-graduation course in MD Psychiatry was started in 2007 with single seat. In 2012.PG seats increased to four per year. All the seats are NMC recognized, with last renewal sanctioned in 2023.
