    Activities in conjunction with NHM:

    • Collaborates with various activities of the NHM in child health at district and state level.
    • State level instructor for ETAT program of the NHM.
    • Chairperson of the district Infant Death Review Board.
    • Chairperson of the district COVID vaccine AEFI review board


    IAP activities:

    • IAP accredited instructor for Pediatric BLS and ALS since 2002.
    • Co-author of the protocol for the state IAP for Pediatric Palliative care.
    • Past president of IAP Kerala state chapter of Pediatric Intensive Care.

     

    Conferences and workshops:

    • Invited speaker at district, state and zonal conferences (in the areas of pediatric emergencies and intensive care, pediatric palliative care, pediatric nephrology).
    • Conducted several workshops for nurses and doctors on Essential Newborn Care, NRP, Breastfeeding & Lactation Management,Pediatric emergencies, Peritoneal dialysis and Pediatric palliative care, Infant Death Review.
    • Faculty for the Revised Basic workshop on Medical Education.
    • MD thesis guide since 2007.


    Welfare activities

    • Founder member and Secretary of We Care Charitable Trust, a registered trust started in 2002, which works for the support of children with chronic diseases such as neurodevelopmental disorders, chronic renal disease, HIV/AIDS, leukemia, chronic haematological disorders and diabetes.
