• Worked as senior registrar in the department of Transfusion Medicine and Blood Centre at Meitra Hospital, Calicut.
• Worked as senior resident for 1 year in the Department of Immunohematology and blood transfusion (IHBT) in B.J. Medical college, Ahmedabad.  
• Worked as junior resident in the Department of Immunohematology and blood transfusion (IHBT) in B.J. Medical college, Ahmedabad for 36 months as part of MD course tenure. 
• Performed emergency duties as part of the tenure and taken part in blood donation camps. 
• Well versed with blood centre inventory management, immunohematology work up including pretransfusion testing, extended red cell antigen phenotyping, post transfusion reaction workup and management, coagulometry, hemophilia and thrombophilia screening, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and thalassemia screening, periheral blood stem cell harvest,counselling and screening of blood donors, blood collection and management of adverse donor reactions, blood component preparation and testing of transfusion transmissible infections, therapeutic phlebotomy and apheresis procedures.  
• Also participated in research and publications including the Placid Trial for Covid Convalescent Plasma therapy.

1. An oral paper presentation on “Assessment of Factor VIII levels in thawed Fresh frozen plasma stored at 20C to 60C for 5 days” in the national conference by ISBTI- TRANSCON 2022 B held at Jammu from 1113th November 2022 
2. A poster presented on “Prevalence and clinical aspects of inhibitors in hemophilia patients” in the national conference by ISBTI-TRANSCON 2022 B held at Jammu from 11-13th November 2022 
3. A Poster presented on “Maternal allo anti-M antibody induced hemolytic disease of new born” in TRANSCON 2020, Chennai, held on 27th & 28th February,2021.  
4. A Poster presented on “A study on the efficacy of autologous platelet rich plasma therapy in erosive lesions of oral cavity” in 16th Annual AATM Congress and 3rd Joint AABB & AATM Congress 2021 held on December 3rd &4th 2021.  
5. An oral paper presentation on “Prevalence of inhibitors in Hemophilia patients and its clinical implications: A study of 370 patients in Gujarat” in CME on “Immunology and Vaccines in Covid 19 ERA: Basic to Therapeutics” held at AMCMET Medical College, Ahmedabad on 14th March 2021.

AWARDS

• Gujarat University’s first Gold Medal in MD Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion ‘Dr. Nidhi Bhatnagar Medal’ for securing first rank in the MD examination conducted in April 2022. 

TEACHING ACTIVITY 

• As a faculty in CME on “Rational Use of Blood” conducted yearly by the department of IHBT, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad 
• Trainer and Demonstrator for Gujarat state level training for Blood Bank Medical Officers, technicians and counselors under aegis of GSACS and NACO.
