PATHOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Clinical Pathology Lab is working 24 hrs.

  1. Histopathology:- Biopsy , IHC, Second Opinion, Autopsy, Histochemical staining, Imprint study
  2. Cytology- FNAC, Fluid cytology, Pap Smear
  3. Hematlogy – CBC, ESR, Peripheral smear , Bone marrow Coagulation study, Platelet aggregometry
  4. CBC – (Hb, TC, DC, Platelet, Blood indices, RDW) – Computerised report is given using Fully Automated Cell counters .
  5. Peripheral Smear & Bone Marrow Examination including Cytochemical stains
  6. E S R
  7. Reticulocyte Count.
  8. Absolute Eosinophil Count.
  9. Osmotic Fragility Test
  10. Sickling Test
  11. Bleeding Time
  12. Clotting Time- PT/APTT, INR Facter IX, VIII, Platelet aggregometry,factor assay,mixing study,Inhibitor assay

In Cytology Section – FNAC is carried out from 11 AM to 1PM on all working days.Fluid Cytology, Sputum Cytology & Papsmear & Barr body Examination are also done.
